…when I feel like a stunning beauty.
…when I feel decidedly drab.
…when I think I can overcome anything.
…when I can barely get out of bed.
…when I feel like an awesome mother and wife.
…when I spend a little too much time on Facebook and ignore my family as a result.
…when I’m ready to tackle wholeheartedly the housework, the finances, and the backlog of to-do lists.
…when I hit the snooze 5 or more times, and then only get out of bed after I hear my daughter whining.
…when I feel like I’ve got it under control.
…when I realize, I can’t do this on my own.
My outlook on myself and life changes with each rising and setting sun. Thankfully, I don’t have to depend on my shifting self for the strength, courage, wisdom, energy, knowledge, or ability to meet the needs of each day.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)
